GALATASARAY AIM HIGH

The Turkish side Galatasaray is having discussions with a number of clubs in the Premier League including: Newcastle United, Manchester United and Chelsea as there are a few players which might be transferring from different clubs in the summer transfer window.

Unal Aysal is the President of Galatasaray and he announced that the club has rejected an offer from Manchester United concerning Wesley Sneijder. The Dutch midfielder is a target of Manchester United but they will need to make an offer in the region of €15 million if they want to land him.

Some time ago. Chelsea was interested in signing him but things have changed as Jose Mourinho has created a young and promising squad which is filled with plenty of creative options in the midfield with Oscar and Eden Hazard being their primary attacking options for the Premier League club but if they still are interested in signing Wesley Sneijder, Unal Aysal stated that if the price is right then there will be no one stopping the transaction to be completed.

“If Chelsea were to offer a deal worth over €15 million £12.5m I would give Sneijder permission to leave if that’s what he wanted,” Galatasaray’s president Unal Aysal said.
Manchester United has not had any luck during the past few transfer windows as they recently signed Marouane Fellaini and Juan Mata but they haven’t lived up to the expectations which is why Sneijder is a target of the Premier League club.

Galatasaray has also been meeting up with staff members of Newcastle United as they want sign Steven Taylor from the Premier League club. Taylor has only made a limited number of appearances in Newcastle United and his future in the club which is being guided by Alan Pardew remains uncertain as the 52 years old tactician is expected to make a series of changes in the club by the next season and Taylor is not in his list of priorities.
